Clayface

The second thing i've managed to draw this past month. I've put pencil to paper twice now and i'm fairly pleased with the results considering i go in 'cold-turkey' for these things. I want to stay loose and keep my arm warmed up but i really don't have time to gesture and draw anymore.

Again, this was for a tavern jam. It was to draw up batman characters in a "batman:begins" type way.

it's clayface in a 'begins' style. I had this really neat idea of clay in a potato sack and the volume of the clay would create the indentations of a face, with the ability to show emotion but still be fairly ambiguous. For fear of hollywood making clayface another t-1000, i decided to make clayface a lot clumsier, that being he has no vision, and relies on 'feelers' of clay to sense things around him. THis makes him much more erratic and, in my opinion, more frightening than he really is. I could see some fun 'cat and mouse' games in the movie if that were ever to come true.
